The eighth FeatherFest was held in Middletown by the Connecticut Parrot Society providing visitors with education about parrots and other birds. Ann Kopp of Ridgefield with cockatoos Marty, left, a triton, Wyatt on her shoulder, a Moluccan, and Hank, a black palm. Kopp began with parrots because her partner Ted Bouthillier is allergic to fur.
