The eighth FeatherFest was held in Middletown by the Connecticut Parrot Society providing visitors with education about parrots and other birds. Michael Brawley of New Britain with his sulphur-crested cockatoo Lenny. He has raised Lenny from a chick but like many at the event he also has more birds at home, both of whom were rescues.
